Breakfast, Carter to preschool, go to work, and then it's home, supper, baths, bedtime and if I don't fall asleep putting the kids to sleep then it's catch up on reality TV, pick up the house, and do it all over again. When am I going to work out????
Have you heard of the quote "someone busier than you is working out right now?" I try to remind myself that when my list of excuses pop in my mind..
In order to motivate myself I have started a fun little contest within my family - participants pitch in $15 and who ever loses the most weight after 15 weeks wins the pool! Right now it is at $215 and growing. Who doesn't want to win money AND lose weight? Sorry to break it to them, I'm totally going to win but not with out some changes at first.
Today I heard in a meeting if you have more than 3 goals, your success rate falls 50%. Crazy.
So my three goals are:
- Drink less pop, more water.
- Move more
- Eat smaller portions / "cleaner" food
I hope to document my little journey on my blog, hopefully better than I stick to menu planning. But since you already know what I do each and every day, you will know why if I don't.
